Description

The WG2 is a highly versatile, motor-driven unit - ideal for polishing thin rock sections, metallurgical specimens, ore mounts, soils and similar samples.

The Logitech WG2 thin section polishing system, comprised of a PM5(W) Precision Polishing Machine and WG2 Polishing Head, is ideal for polishing thin rock sections, metallurgical specimens, ore mounts, soils and similar samples. The WG2 readily accepts all other Logitech sample holding fixtures for different processes and is the ideal complement to a Logitech lapping system.

With Logitech processes, the WG2 system is capable of producing the desired finished thin section samples to a very high standard, whether the requirement is high reflectivity, low relief, ultra-flat surfaces or minimal edge roll-off.

The system is also highly versatile, offering a wide range of facilities including variable plate and carousel speed and rotation of the carousel in either direction. The system enables the reciprocation of samples across the plate and accepts a wide range of polishing plates, sample holders and accessories.
