Description
The Compact 50 Polishing System provides the ideal solution to the problems of obtaining high quality polished thin sections with the minimum of capital investment.
The system comprises the CP50 polishing machine and the WG4 motor-driven polishing head, available either as a complete polishing package or for converting an existing Compact 50 Thin Section Preparation System for both lapping and polishing operations.
The CP50 is a single station machine specifically designed for small scale polishing operations. It is of robust construction with a plastic housing painted with durable epoxy finish that is easily cleaned.
Polishing plates locate simply on a rotating drive plate whose speed can be varied between 12-120rpm, giving greater control over the polishing process. The drive plate is easily screwed on or off, and a water spray head is also provided to help keep the slurry bowl free of polishing slurry build up.
