Logitech was founded in 1965. The company was developed from a research project into advanced semiconductor materials at the University of Glasgow.

During the last 49 years Logitech has gone from strength to strength as a world
leader in materials shaping and surface finishing technology.

  • Logitech opens US office
  • Introduction of Global Distribution Network
  • Developed III-V Wafer back thinning systems
  • Developed Electro Optic Waveguide & edge polishing systems

 

1990s

  • Achieved BS5750 and ISO9001 Quality Standards
  • Developed Failure Analysis Technology
  • Developed CVD Diamond Polishing Technology

 

2000s

  • Logitech became a wholly owned subsidiary of Roper Industries
  • Developed CMP Technology & CDP Systems
  • Developed High speed polishing systems


2010s

  • Launch of High Speed Polishing Systems (DP1 & DP4)
  • Focus on developing process equipment for hard materials, such as LED
  • Opening of new CMP lab
  • Installation of clean room facility
