- Fine etch polishing of semiconductor wafers and electro-optic crystals
Description
This system has been specifically designed for use with the integral fume cabinet. Maximum sample size - 9 off 76mm (3") diameter (specify workdeck configuration with order).
The Logitech CP4000 is a corrosion resistant chemical polishing machine integrated with a fume extraction enclosure and is designed to provide a cost eflective unit for aggressive and normally hazardous chemical polishing operations.
The CP4000 is constructed predominantly from polypropylene, PVDF and other corrosion resistant materials, making it suitable for use with most chemical polishing agents. A universal drive mechanism and all electrics are mounted below the lower deck. Isolation from the workspace and hence from chemical attack is provided by a liquid seal between the lower deck and the drive plate base, followed by a rubber seal between the drive shaft and the lower working deck.
Access to the underdeck area is via a drop down front panel onto which the controls are mounted. Cooling fans and appropriate ventilation are provided in this area.
Product Options
The CP4000 is available as 230V/50-60Hz or 110V/50-60Hz. There are two set up items which require customisation to suit the processing requirements: - Polishing Plate: available in the range 25.4cm to 45.72cm [10-18"] - Work deck configuration: the standard config accepts nine 3" wafers.
